How many acupuncture treatments are needed?
A series of six to fifteen treatments are generally needed, but varies due to individual response and the nature of your medical condition.

The practice of Chinese herbal medicine involves the use of combinations of herbs to treat various health conditions. These herbal formulas naturally stimulate the body's own healing energies, often in conjunction with acupuncture, to restore balance and health with minimal side effects. Treatments usually consist of using six to eighteen different herbs found mostly in China and based on your disease diagnosis.
Is Chinese herbal medicine safe?
Most of the components of Chinese herbal medicine have a very low toxicity compared to common Western drugs. When they are prescribed according to a correct TCM pattern diagnosis, they should have few, if any, side effects. Our practitioner at Rejuve has passed a specialty certification exam for Chinese herbal medicine, set up by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
